MY CULTURE

Hi im ashley and I am a CLASSIC New Zealand girl and loving it. I am not just a Kiwi chick I am also Irish Scottish and Welsh. My mums family Is Irish and we imigrated here from Ireland in My mums family is also Whelsh and Scotts On my Dads side is Moari as my GREAT GRANDMA was moari. She married My great Grandpa and he was not moari so I am only PART moari.

Family Artifacts There are alot of family artifacts that I could not share with you but here are my Favourites like . . . My Grandmothers china dogs that were past down to me when I turned 10 and they are sooo cute . My mum has three plates that are worth alot and are very very FRAGILE and are very important to my mum as they were my mums Grandmothers plates from her everyday dinner set and are sooo important to my mum. Another thing my mums Grandmother past down to my mother was a beutiful clock that is in a glass case and is very FRAGILE. Another artifact are 6 Hores's carved from bone that My grandpa gave to my mum, me and my sister.

"I DIDN'T DO IT!!"

Our Religon Me and my mum , my sister and brothers religion is Anglican hence the fact we all go to anglican schools. My Dad is a prysberterian so he was baptised into the prysberterian church.

Family Values 1. Being Honest 2. Treating others the way you want to be treated. 3. Give what yhou can afford to charity. 4. Living with minimal Regrets 5. Live life to the ful. 6. Respect . 7. empathy. 8. Treating each other with Kindness. 9. SHARING.

Rituals We celebrate Christmas with realatives and friends and YUMMMY food. We celbrate Birthdays as a Family and then have a party with friends and other realatives later. Our mum comes from a LARGE extendid familys and when we have a funeral we celebrate the persons life and it is also a chance for long distance relatives to catch up and see relatives they do not usually see often .

Our Language In my Family we speak English but my sister can speak french and has been taking French classes since year 7 and is now in year 11 at Dio and is still taking French.

Norms of Behaviour My Familys Norms of behaviour Are to treat each other fairley and even though we don't always get along we try to respect each other and treateach other with respect.

Family Beliefs In our family we believe in our family values , our religions , our rituals , our norms of behavior ect. ect. ect. We also believe in animal rights and have 5 pets 3 cats Boots (he has white feet hence the name boots!) Britany (The very FLUFFY one) and Sammy (the Tabby) 1 Dog Barthlomew (bart for short) and my Favourite Joseph James Hayes (Joey or JoJo for short) my rabbit!
