More funky Poems!
Standing in the doorway Watching father leave Crying infamts tears Tugging mama's sleeve Saw him pack his bags Too young too know what it meant Didn't realize something's wrong And now our time is spent He closes the car boot Pretends it is a game But I'm not fooled, and wonder Will things ever be the same?
Coldness. Darkness. Emptiness. Hunger. Gathering clouds. Droplets of rain. Cold. So very cold, and Alone. So alone.

Dear mum, Some mothers are simply one colour Or two or three But you are a rainbow Seven colours, you see You're red when you're angry Because you I've annoyed But it's my fault, I realize So I'm sorry I haven't listened to the things you've employed You're orange when you calm down And sometimes to me you apologize But I'm the one who should have As I now realize You're yellow when happy Cheerful and bright as the sun Your laughter infects others, especially me its great to see you out having fun You're green when you're relaxed And not on the go You simply kick off your shoes And drift with the flow You're blue when you're upset And tears fall down your face Sometimes the stress is too much As you hurry at too fast a pace You're purple when calm And simply at peace Doing things without rushing And your stressing will cease So that's you, mum My colourful rainbow Sometimes cheerful or angry Sometimes you go nice and slow So on that last note I would just like to say With all the love in my heart Happy Mothers Day
