Pascal's
The pascal's triangle is a triangle that has rows that add up to the next collumn. In this poster, I will show you many different patterns you can find on the Pascal''s Triangle!!!
Ashley Cheuk 9W
The first row of the Pascal's Triangle is always a prme number ( 1 ) , all the numbers in that row is diviisable by it. For example, row 3 ( 1, 2, 1)
For example, this picture shows that the Pascal triangle has numbers that goes diagonally downwards. And this pattern is the same as it goes across. Also, in this picture, you can spot counting numbers, triangular numbers, and also ones that go straight down.
The picture on the left shows that when you add the two numbers together, the number under it would always equal the right answer. For example, on the picture it shows 1 + 1 = 2, and the number under it shows 1 + 3 = 4
Pattern!
This triangle shows many patterns you can find!
On the diagram on the right, there are several patterns you can find (the grey coloured boxes). The most common pattern you can find here are that the numbers round up and go back down in a row. This shows that if you split the triangle in half, it reflects the same numbers as a mirror. (Symmetric)
When you add each base together, example- Row 4, the answer would always equal double the amount from the top base added together.
