The beat of your heart was the beat of my life. The only thing that stays the same. The pulse of your veins remain for only a second more Is this how it ends? With many questions but never any answers. its like chasing a ghost I remember the look in your eyes the terror, when you told me your condition. I felt the sadness in your voice when you said those three words. You knew i'd be left alone But it was too late and time was running out You left me in a world full of greed and filth But what happend to the world i once knew? When smiles where everywhere and the sun kept us warm on long summer nights what happened to the memories of us lying beneath the stars? what about the exchange of 'i love yous'? what happened? they all just disapeared the sun wont shine in my life my happiness just went away im left with bitter days and empty hearts another three words forever and ever, made me smile everytime i heard them i guess lifes how everyone says it is cold, brutal, and unfair i guess forever isnt as long as everybody says it is
