Why does anyone care about him? -He was a major part of the Treaty of Versailles -Elected Paris Municipal Council on July, 1871 and stayed till 1876 -Advocated a strong Radical program, but didn't want to replace the one he removed.
Where did he go? Being born in Venice, he traveled to the U.S. learning English on the way. Following his divorce, he returned to Paris where he was elected Paris Municipal Council.
What did he Do? Any Family? Occupancy: French statesman, physician, journalist, 72nd (1906-1909) and 85th (1917-1920) priminister of France, and ruler of france for less than a year. Family: Mother- was from Huguenot family, Father- was a village physician and wanted his son to follow. Wife- One of his students, Mary Plummer, but ended in a divorce

Who is he? During Clemenceau's life time, he was arrested by Emperor Napolean 3 after an attempted assasination. He was sent to exile. He also co founded a weekly newsletter in December called 'Le Travail' On Febuary 23, 1862, he was arrested for posting posters of a demonstration and sentenced to 77 days in Mazas prison.
