Darfur started in 2001 or 2002. This problem was caused by the Janjaweed and the economic situation in Sudan's capital compared to the rest of the country.
This is a problem because the people of Darfur are being killed by the Janjaweed. Needless to say, the peopleof Darfur are most directly affected by this tragedy.
