I was able to grow as an individual while I was participating in the directing scene , at Columbus State University. I had to display my strenghts of orignization and time managment to attend the rehersals. I also had to adjust to the power dynamic of another student as a leader or director. Taking a step back and learning to listen to others and their ideas, was a great lesson for me to learn. I realized that I have been leading my college education myself for years now and must adjust to being in a school system upon graduation.

3-19-08 Today was an immense opportunity for me to discover diverse options I have when it comes to obtaining a vocation. Columbus State University hosted a Career Fair in their gymnasium and attracted over 100 companies. I was there for a little over 2 hours and was only able to speak with 6 booths, regarding their hiring policies and obtain further information about their positions. This was useful for me as an aspiring teacher, so that I might learn where to steer my strengths when applying for a position.
