3. The immediate reactions of the parties involved were very drastic. The fleas infected the rats who infected the people. The people who had the bubonic plague died 50% of the time. Other forms of the Black Death usually had about a 100% death rate.
4. The short term effects of this are about 1/3 of the population died off. Economy was trashed because of the rise of prices. The rise of prices was due to lack of workers, lack of production, and fear of the disease. More short term effects are the fall of religion because people think god is not helping them. In the long run the Black Death had an effect of the two world wars. Beside all of the loss the Black Death helped move Europe forward to a more modern time.
5. This disease caused a lot of downfall and descend in polotics, religion, society and economy. The polotics and society were mainly destroyed. The fuedal system was challenged. Major cutbacks had to be made in order to get workers for the system. In the religious matter people turned to the church for help and when the prayers were not answered they became cynical about the church and lost faith. In the economy there was a huge shortage of workers. Because of this wages rose to about 5 times the usual rate. Since the wages were higher prices skyrocketed. These were the effects on religious, economic, political, and societal situations.
