Silk Road
Silk Road Video
1) The motives for the interaction were because people wanted to trade with others countries. By trading with other countries China and other countries would gain a lot more wealth, technology, and culture. These were the motives for the creation of the Silk Road.
2) The conditions for the travelers were very harsh and rough. The biggest obstacle for the travelers was the Taklimakan Desert. This desert covered almost all of the Silk Road and was nicknamed The Land of Death. It has barely any foliage or plants, and there is almost no rainfall. There were also many sandstorms and the temperatures went from scolding hot during the day to icy cold at night. Also beside the weather there were raiders and pilligers along the road that would steal goods and kill people. These were the conditions of the travelers on the silk road.
5) The silk road effected the society, economy, religions, and polotics greatly. The trade from others countries brought in new ideas that changed the way people lived; that is how society changed. Religions and polotics also changed because of new ideas coming in from different places. For example Buddhism traveled from India up to China, and the Silk Road was a big part of this. Economy was greatly enhanced for all countries because it brought in goods and gained waelth from the goods sold. This is how the Silk Road changed the polotics, religions, society, and economy.
