My Dreams and Goals
By: Autumn Taylor-Kelley
What is a goal ? (noun) 1. The result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim; end. 2. Point marking end of race; object of effort or ambition; destination;
3. Forgiveness
2. Comfort zone
1. Becoming an art teacher/ Artist
Another goal i want to achieve by June '10 is getting comfortable with myself and the people around me. I want to be able to speak my mind and come out of my bubble that keeps me distant from relationships. An obstacle that might stop me is being kept to myself becuase im used to being quiet and bottled up. Also it may be hard becuae its not easy to change your personality (Eg. Not sharing my thoughts in class because im not comfortable and that will hurt my grade)
Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future. - Paul Boese.
One of my goals is to forgive and forget. I want to forget the little things that are in my way, and understand that somethings are okay not to forget. I want to be the bigger person and fix things that are, in some way, my fault. Something that will stop me is trying to show off and act as if i dont care what happened. (Eg. If i were to fight with my sister, i would ignore her to make her think that i dont care about the fight even though i do)
A long-term goal i have is to become an art teacher or artist by the time i graduate college. I am ambitious and willing to try new things. Trying new things is important because there are lots of different art to try. What might stop me is giving up on things that i cant do, or not trying things that look too hard. (Eg. In Writers Express, we did an art project and i quit becuase i didnt know how to do it, and I thought it was too hard to try)
