If I could change and/or exempt any one thing from the world, then as cynical as it may seem... I would exempt people from the world. Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I would go around killing all the people to fix the world. But if I could go back to the beginning and pluck the small bodied cell which would later become the over consuming, selfishly producing, and arrogant self seducing human race... I can't honestly say that I would not deeply consider doing so. So by that you must think 'this guy forgets He is human.' No... Not at all. I remember that. But of all the atrocities ever committed, not one isn't a direct contribution of humans. Of the wars that have scathed the face of this earth, the mass slaughters of species we have so ignorantly deemed as lower lifeforms. All the gluttony and all the greed. All the wants put over the needs. And the due warnings that we've never received, or perhaps chosen not to heed. They are all, ALL off spring of selfish human corruption. Humans, as Orwells animals put it, are the only species that consume anything and produce absolutely nothing. In fact all we do is deduce anything. Of all the technology we've created and al the building we have built none of them, not one, is an essential need to human life. But a mere want and desire for luxury. There are no other animals on the face of this earth that share our desire for luxury. In fact I believe that is what separates us from them, and what drives us. We are the only beings willing to tear from others that which we want. We are the only animals which hold other animals in captive, abusing them, killing them, in front of one another, then chipping them into bits and selling them for the mere reason to retain a price, a sum of money to sustain our comfort and our luxury. The Human race is the only species that takes from all and returns to none. The only species that kills each other in the masses and tries to justify it! The only species that pollutes the world with their facilities and industries and tries to scientifically deny it! The species of 6 billion that thinks they don't create an impact that mother nature can't handle! We are also the only species, that needs only 8 hours of sleep, yet never truly wakes up. The only species that fascinates itself with its past, and shuns the evildoers of our history only to redo exactly what they did, down to the soundbites. We are the most intelligent, species that has ever been so stupid.
