This article has put new thoughts in me and my mom's head about the internet and the way people communicate. Dr. Gessner has a good point about how cyber communications ruin the human mind. In my opinion, the internet is making us simpleminded. Instead of us doing the work, the computer does it for us ; making us not have to learn or do anything. I think that techonology is taking over humanity and making us antisocial and lazy. I believe that it is one of the reasons why there are so many unhealthy people in the world. Technology is to much for our minds, and one day we aren't going to know beyond the internet. Although it is very important, it seems like the downsides overwiegh the benefits.
