I lie awake again tonight,
my family below me fights.
the same as every other time.
"He-said/She-saids" fill my mind,
Hot tears roll down my face in streams,
I'm torn and broken fraying at the seams.
I pray for silence to fill this place
and for end to come to this mindless chase
My life's a mess, why can't you see or help, or care, or comfort me?
I need your love, that's nothing new,
but I'm afraid I can't give much to you...
