Through these eyes, I see a world,
I see a world that used to hold
a completely different scene.
Not like that of which you see,
so bleak, so cold, so mean.
A world that once upon a time,
my happy family.
came crashing down on me.
But time moves on, and so did I,
Instead, time seemed to pass me by,
or so I'd like to think.
from then to now without a blink.
Time left me standing by myself,
My world since then's been a house of cards
And to this day, I stand alone
with nowhere else to go.
not all too long ago.
A world of smiling faces
a happy one you'd think.
Impressive and unique.
But behind closed doors is what I see.
one day after another.
A life I'd like to leave someday soon,
and start another.
But what is seen behind these eyes, are words I've left unspoken. Words to speak another day, until then, I'm left broken.
