The scots (Scotch) pine, or otherwise known as is the most widely distributed pine tree in the world, however, it is originated from Scotland (hence, Scotch pine). The bark in the crown region of these coniferous trees has an orange coloration in medium to large ones; whereas, in the lower back of mature trees, is gray to reddish-brown. The leaves are clustered in pairs and are typically one and a half to three inches long with a dull, blue-green color. As for the cones, they are numerous even in younger trees. Due to the poor form of the scots pine's wood, it is usually just used for pulp and fuel.
