Movie Projector Lens
TYPE OF LENS: convex lens - this is the type of lens that is commonly used as magnifying glasses; the center is thicker than the edge.
DOUBLE INVERSION: since the image is inverted when it refracts from the lens, the object has to also be inverted in order for the audience to see the image the right side up when it is projected onto the screen REFRACTION: Light rays behind the object are shone through the object and refracts off the convex lens, projecting the image onto the screen (beyond the 2F point)
DESCRIPTION OF IMAGE: -magnified (bigger than object) -inverted (upside down) -real (on the opposite side of the object/behind the lens) -image is PROJECTED onto the screen
