The battle of Thermopylae was the second of the three Persian wars . King Xerxes sent a messenger to Sparta to share king Xerxes offer. King leonidas did like his options so he killed the Perisan messenger.
The Greek Wars
King Leonidas gathered 300 Spartan men and marched to the hot gates where they held off the Persians for two days. On the third day a trader named Ephialtes showed the Persians an old route that gave the Persians a chance to surround the Spartans. The Spartans gave their last breath to protect Sparta.
There was an ancient called Troy with an extremely high and incredible strong wall surrounding it. the Greeks tryed mant times to get over the wall but never could.
One day a Greek general named had a brilliant idea. He said that we should pretend to sail away, and leave Troy an end of war gift shaped like a horse. We can have 30 men hide inside, and when night falls we will open the gate of Troy and burn the city to the ground. The Greeks put the horse in front of the gates of Troy and “sailed away.” That night Troy fell to the devious plan of the Greek general Odysseus.
