Rise and Fall of Rome and Greece
Fall of Greece- Greece was a very powerful civilization. It had a weakness though, there were so many seperate city states that it was easy for Rome to take over. Rome built its empire over conquering smaller civilizations and Greece was a very easy target with its city states being independant.
Fall of Rome- Rome was a very huge civilization. Its size helped it grow into a great empire but in the end caused its downfall. The empire grew so big that it splited in half. In the end the Roman empire grew too big to defend itself and eventually fell.
The Dark Ages- After the fall of Rome poverty hit the world. Because of the Depression technology had barely developed at all and desease had caused many people to die.
The Romans had contributed many things. The gave us there numeral system, they helped spread Christianity. Our buildings are based off the Romans too.
