You were my best friend

Ever since you moved in the house on the river bend.

Collecting baby crabs and minows, grew into sitting under the tree billows.

And as we grew, we never parted

But something new had started.

You held me close, And the next day you handed me a rose.

The music helped us sway,

And it was no normal prance.

You asked me to dance

And our hearts started to obey.

Years go bye and you had to go, And we knew that our love wouldn't grow

And I said I couldn't wait.

You asked me on a date

But not like we used to...our hearts had landed in our hands.

And then you did it, You me and I loved every bit.

And then you did it; you held my hand,

There we sat, As we said this and that.

Junior High,

KISSED

So then you left But we both would never forget, how much we loved each other.

Now I come and sit where we first kissed, Wishing that you would return for I was the only one you missed.

But then one day I saw you here, And I ran to you as fast as a running deer. I jumped into your arms, and here is where I stay, Forever more and in all of my days.
