How religion influenced art & architecture in Ancient Greece
The Doric style is rather sturdy & it's top is plain. This style was used in mainland Greece & the colonies in Sicily & southern Italy.
The Ionic style is a little bit thinner & more elegant. This style was found in eastern Greece & the islands.
The Corinthian style is seldom used in the Greek world, & it is often seen on Roman temples.
Ancient Greece's art & architecture was mainly revolved around their religion.
900-700 BCE carvings and sculptures began to be made to represent some of their heros of their city states' humans and animals a like
Greek sculptures are very important as the vast majority of them tell us a story about Greek Culture, Mythical Creatures, Gods, Heroes and Events in general.
The Greeks had thaught it very important to keep their Gods happy as to not cause trouble on Earth, & that is why the temples were the nicest buildings in all of Ancient Greece.
