This is how steel can feel, Cutting at your wrist, Till you reach the jagged bone, Your body left hollow and alone, The blood it porous down you silky skin, Your heavy breath worn so thin, The streaming tears that leave your face, They drip down on the cold, cold floor, Because she doesn’t love you anymore. My heart throbs through my silent sobs trying to stop the pain makes me go insane because you’re hardly ever here even though you hold me dear I wish you were with me But I guess that can not be You’re always to busy to see That I am living in agony Your purpose unclear, Your body full of fear, But the blood it pumps in your vain, Not realizing that you’ve gone insane, That your heart, lungs, spirit and brain, Have given up because of the undeniable pain, Because when you left me cold, You left me shallow and bold, I was just a puppet, did you ever care, How you were never there, When I needed you to be there to set me free, But you were gone away, I looked for you everyday. All I ask from you Is a love so true You claim you still love me But that I can not see As my tears fall desperately And you are no where to be. Every tear every drop of blood, You wiped my face in the mud, You laughed as you left me there, That was when I knew that I could not bare, The sight of another day, While you were so far away. I have learned to detach myself from further heartache But in return, my feelings are no longer there to break. So I walk with a somewhat empty soul, The rings under my eyes show sleepless nights that take their tole And the increase of weight loss shows starvation, That pain has left its aggravation. Beating myself for the pain that I caused, And with that my life has seemed to paused. Suffering with pain that my heart is keeping, You’ve left my spirit cold and weeping. As these wounds could not heal, My body lifeless and cold, Lied their with no emotion, So it was with that, that they received their answer, That yes, you can feel the pain and company of bitter sweet steel… Now, I look at what I’ve done to you. I see that it was always my fault. I realized that I hurt you. That I should die for emotional assault. But I did love you. More than you’ll ever know. I did love you. More than I could ever show. I’m sorry… I need someone to love. Someone to care for. Someone to let me know that I am important. Until then, I wait.
