Birthing Options -a doula can be used to provide you with emotional/physical support. -midwives are more medically oriented, and focus on natural births -a birthing pool is an option for labor. -giving birth in the hopsital is traditional. you can either give birth naturally, no medication or get an epidural. -cesarean is an option but requires extra rest & recuperation.
4 ways to have a healthy pregnancy. 1.)Get as much rest as you can and exercise daily 2.)Avoid alcohol, and drugs because they harm not only the baby but yourself as well. 3.)Maintain a healthy diet, and don't take in a lot of caffiene. 4.)Gain proper weight.

Second Trimester: grows from 6-8 inches long to a 11-14 inches. it's internal organs are growing rapidly. Third Trimester: the babies skin is red and soft, and continues growing in length from 14-17 to approx. 20 when born. by the end of the 9th month, it's full term.
Three Stages of Labor First Stage: contractions begin gently and get more powerful, also the amniotic sac ruputures. Second Stage: the cervix opens to 10 centimeters and the baby moves down the birth canal and at the end of the second stage, the baby is born.
