The Foundations of Leadership class taught by Maureen Webb and Tori Lord was responsible for chartering a chapter of the Yahoola Creek Conservation Club on campus. The students obtained, and filled out the paper work for chartering a chapter from the Student Life Office. They came up with plans for an event to promote publicity for the club once it was created,. By the end of the term, the students has created a facebook page, attained a faculty advisor, and designed T-shirts for promoting the club.
Tori stated, "students learned the importance of preserving our natural green space."
Students reflected, "we discovered that in order to charter an organization on campus, dedication is critical"
