The lost of adults to aids had a significant affect on children in Botswana. an estimated 93,000 children have lost at least on parent to the epidemic.
Botswana first AIDS case was reported in 1985. In the beginning they took it serious but not at full extent. But now there trying to do things that are within their power. for example, giving out utensils for sexual intercourse.
The ways they are trying to stop AIDS is by: public edu. and awareness,condom distribution and education, improvement of blood safety, and Prevention of mother-to-child transmmission.
