IOC Survival
You might feel a wee bit overwhelmed at the prospect of the IOC.
1. Research the poet. 2. Research the context. 3. Do external research about the text. 4. Look at different perspectives of the text. 5. In class ask to do extract annotations and planning practice. 6. Have group discussions about the extracts 7. Practice as much as possible, and get feedback from a friend or teacher. 8. Find a good method for the structure of the IOC and stick to it. 9. Practice annotating with random and set texts.
