In memory of Trae Wilson Cagle
My big brother Trae Cagle was killed March 29,2008. If you knew Trae then you know what and amazing person Trae really was. He had an amazing smile and could always make you laugh. All you would have to do is look into those big blue eyes and some how you felt happier. We all know that he is in a better place and we all cant wait to see him again some day.
Have you ever held someone you loves hand and they didnt grip back no matter how hard you squeeze? I have. Have you ever kissed someone you loves forehead and it's so cold and you can just taste the death. I have. Trae Wilson Cagle was known as many things. A son, a brother, a friend, a cousin, grandson, a hero, but no matter how you knew him you loved him. Trae was my brother and my light, my sunshine. Where has my sunshine gone? When will I ever feel warmth again? Trae was my candle that got me through and now it is blown out, I am lost. Will I ever find my way through. At times Trae was the only thing keeping me alive. He helped me through so much and now he's gone. But at times he was the reason for my depresion. The reason for my frustration but, you know what...I could never hate him. The only feeling I could ever feel for him was love and I think everone knows what I mean. One thing that helps me through the day is to know that he is in a better place, he is with our God, our father. He is no longer in pain, he's happy. I will always miss him because I'm selfish. I want my big brother back and I cant have him. I love him and thank God for taking care of him. Trae I love you and I will see you later,the greatest big brother that ever lived. -Amie Cagle
