Milo Minderbinder- A fantastically powerful mess officer. -Doesn’t learn that money isn’t everything – (He ruthlessly chases after profit and bombs his own men as part of a contract with Germany.) -Doesn’t learn that bombing his squadron is bad. -Doesn’t learn to either be with the Germans or the U.S Doc Daneeka - The medical officer. -Doesn’t learn to stop feeling sorry for himself for interrupting him from his business back home. -Doesn’t learn to listen to other people’s problems. -Learns how not to have to fly but beable to still get his flight time so he still gets paid. Aardvark-a navigator who goes on milk runs -Doesn’t learn that raping is bad – (In Rome he rapes and kills a maid) -Doesn’t learn to ever be nice to women in the book -Learns to be nice to Nately so he can get his Dads riches.
