There are a few sports that define Spain’s culture like bullfighting. The sport that I chose to write about was football which is known as soccer. It is a very popular sport and Spain is one of the many countries who enjoy football.

Another reason Spain’s culture affects soccer is because the Spanish basically fight for what they believe in and it is shown in soccer because all of the Spanish teams fight to win because that’s what they believe in. The Spanish soccer teams fight until they are actually beaten by a formidable opponent.

My Personal favorite is Real Madrid. I have many reasons for liking that team. Some are that they have many of the players from the international team and my father likes Barcelona (the rival team that lost against Real Madrid twice in a row). Real Madrid won the cup last year and I think they are going to win it this year as well.

I think Spain contributes a lot to the football world. They have many good players like Raul (#7) and Fernando Torres (#9). Barcelona has Ronaldinho but we still beat them. The Spanish culture affects football because if it weren’t for their participation in leagues and the world cup, I think football would lose excitement and popularity.

Many people like Spain for their soccer because they don’t show off if they win. I was actually in Spain when Real Madrid (yes!!!!!!!) won the UEFA cup and the team only went to a square to celebrate. They didn’t start to go nuts like some other countries do when they win.

First, football (soccer) would lose a lot of viewers from Spain because if they don’t have a team to root for, then why should they watch and waste their time and money.

The UEFA league is European teams that compete with each other to win a trophy that isn’t as important as the World Cup. There are many good UEFA teams in Spain like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Sevilla. I have seen Sevilla and Real Madrid play but I don’t like Barcelona.

The world cup Spanish team is actually pretty good. They have good players and good technique but they still can’t win the World Cup. But next time, I’m sure they will win like Real Madrid won the UEFA cup.
