Untersee Boot (undersea boat) (U-boat )
The German U-boat was a submarine that the Germans used in WW1 and WW11. At the start of WW1 the Germans had 29 U-boats in service by the end of the war the Germans built 360 of them
The U-boat is a very important invention becouse the submarine even newer versions of the U-boat are still used in the German military. from the very first U-boat to the U214

The U-boat is a very important invention becouse it at the time was on the cutting edge of navel technology. Becouse of Britians dreadnought and Germany's ships being no match without the U-boats Britain would have destroyed Germany in the sea's.
