In this pisture it showes the boat that Santiago used to complete his journey. Without his boat he couldn't be a fisher men and would need a new job. The boat is his tool that helps him in the most ways. He needs it to take him were he needs to go and to keep him safe.

Step 1: Hero is innocent- living an ordinary life not knowing what is to come. Step 2: Hero leaves for his or hers challenge. Step 3: Hero enters the more dangerous world with a better veiw of what is to come. Step4: Trials and testing- the hero is giving powers to help, endures test of strength, and his/hers endurance. Step 5: Hero fights his/hers last and hardest fight- Hero enters another world. Then is reborn in a way. The hero is not him/her self anymore. Step 6: Returns to home- the hero restores order to the lands using their wisdom.
