Jailbreaking iPod Touch 2nd Gen
Instructions: 1. Download http://www.megaupload.com/?d=b5ijd1ze 2. Once Downloaded, Put into a folder you can remember. 3. Open iTunes and Connect your iPod Touch 2nd Gen. 4. Back up and Sync your iPod
5. Go to your iPod Touch on the Device List 6. Hold Shift for PC/Option for Mac and click Update 7. Locate the file you downloaded and click on it. 8. Let your iPod continue and wait till iPod has finished (which will take long).
9. Once this has finished, you have now got an iPod Touch with 3.0 for free. 10 (Mac). Download http://www.arieder.net/Uploads/redsn0w-mac_0.8.zip 10 (PC). Download http://www.arieder.net/Uploads/redsn0w-win_0.8.zip
11. Open the Application 12. Click Browse and locate the file again. 13. Wait until Next Button is available and click it. 14. Turn off iPod by holding Power Button and dragging the item on the screen to the right. 15. Make sure Install Cydia is ticked
Needed: 1x iPod Touch 2nd Gen 1x Mac/PC with more than 2gb memory 1x iTunes App 1x Internet Connection which downloads more than 2gb 1x iPod USB Cable
16. Quickly, hold Power Button and Click Next. 17. Follow Steps going through every few seconds. 18. Allow iPod to Continue but if it doesn't do anything within 3-10 minutes then you should close the app and open it and do Steps 11 to 18 again. 19. Sync iPod and Back Up.
20. Your iPod should be luckily Jailbroken after sync and back up. If anything goes wrong do Step 14 but don't continue other steps. Check if you have Cydia (it's the samething as Installer). It should be in one of the Tabs. 21.You have finished.
