Best Friends
The journey of life is one which is Not meant to be faced alone, And while love may leave you feeling blessed, It can leave you with no one. But through everything, both good and bad, From beginning until end, The one thing that you can depend upon, Is that I'll always be your best friend. I will never forget all you've done for me, And I am sure that you will do more. I hope you know that I am here for you too, Because that's what friends are for. We have been through so much together, And I am grateful for every day, I think I would be lost without you; Your friendship guides my way. Together we have gotten older, Hopefully we'll grow older together still, I hope you will treasure all our memories forever, Because I know I always will. And even though we may drift apart, And not spend as much time together, In spirit you'll be with me every step of the way... Because best friends are forever.
I??ve never seen your face Or looked you in the eyes Never heard your laughter Or held you when you cried I don??t know where you live Or what your dreams may be But just know that I consider You the truest friend to me You encourage my writings And say words always just right This writing is for you As I write upon tonight So even though we never met Maybe even passed the other by You??ll always be a friend to me Who can always make me smile
