Justinianic Plague was due to the previous Athenian Plague, which killed brutally. Began in the year 541 and ended in 750, being passed on for generations to different countries.

The Plague was passed through trade. It had originated in Europe, and made its way to Asia and Northern Africa.
The Plague killed at least 5,000 people a day in Constantinople. The city lost over 40% of its population.. An estimate of all deaths would be 25 million.
