She left the paper by the bathtub next to a cande still aflamed telling why she'll soon be gone forever and why she is to be blamed It's the story of the tell tale heart that shall never beat again of the simple grace of a secret love and that heart held by a friend In the letter written in tears with the beauty of her soul of the blue eyes that burned through hers and the heart he could not console Reflecting on her younger years with her youth and all her grace mourning at those eyes that burned and never forgetting his face Wishing she took that moment as she walked down the aisle to let go of the comfort of his arm and to run to that blue eyed smile In the despair of knowing wedding tears are tears of joy she knew her tears were not of that but remembering the blue eyed boy The one who always made her laugh the one who took her breath away who would never forget to mention she's beautiful and perfect in everyway The simple fragile story of a lonely bleeding flower Who made the wrong decision even in her finest hour And as she drifted to her final slumber the blue eyes met in tears for he held her close and whispered "i love you" and she answered so he could hear As he kisses her one last time his blue eyes burn away and as the candle burns the letter the church bells begin to play
