I gave you what I thought was my heart
You threw it away and rejected it
Said you needed more than a friend
I wanted you as my main chick
I can see now that I loved you too much
Realizing that you'd only Break my heart
I was blinded by what I was becoming
You knew I wouldn't be smart
You could see along there'd be a massive attack
Let it fall to the ground
The possibilities clouded my thoughts
Thought of us began to be numbing
Setting a memory inside my head
They tell me I really need to give up on my fantasy
People say we should live like we're dying
But I knew there was no more life
Something I'd want to remember for all time
That I would soon fall to the blade of heartbreak
And still pointing at the one who broke my heart
Then I'd be left lying on the floor with the realization of a huge mistake
And now I'm still standing here pointing
You'd jump out of no where and stab me in the back
