A girl sits alone at lunch No one wants her around So well others sit in a bunch In a corner, alone, is were she’ll be found People do not comprehend That when they poke and make fun They slowly push her over the bend She’s losing ground fast, soon she’ll have none But she walks around with a smile And wears a mask of indifference But she can only wear it for awhile Before she losses her defense Her few friends see the tears But they feel it’s impossible to help her Their friend is the root of all their fears They want to help, their just unsure She’s dying inside She could give in and ask for help with everything But she feels the only thing she has left is her pride So she continues to take sting after sting But one night she just gives in She was already dead she just needed to help her body along She felt in this world it was impossible to win So she grabbed a knife, knowing it was wrong Now family and friends are left to grieve And the world lost someone very special Who knew what she would achieve She had endless potential She was only ever pushed to her end What other escape was out there? She was put in a hostile environment and expected to fend There were lots of enemies and few that gave care So may heaven welcome her Like humanity never even tried to Her friends could never forget her, that’s for sure They could never replace her with someone new She was one of a kind and now she’s gone
