Dear Sambow, Words can't explain a thing for what kinda dog you were. Sometimes you were bad, sometimes you were good, and sometimes you were just a good friend. You were there when I was born, and have lived with me for my whole life. I love you so much Bowser, and I only wish you knew that. Everybody here is mourning because of you, so am I. I've cried seven times now cuz of u and even in front of everybody in class! But its ok Sammy, because if anybody knew you the way I did they would cry too I assure you that. I learned today that you were put down at 11 on Febuary 26th, 2009. Mom said the first time she saw you you were roaming around an East St. Louis park, just a little puppy. We already Brandy, and Mom figured that she would take you home to show you to the guy who was your favorite in the world. Mike Lippert. Oh! How dad loved you, and how you loved him. The Lippert family took great care of you, and I heard that when I was a baby you would watch over me to see if I was alright. Gosh, I'm crying as I'm writing this to you. You then lived with your best friend you would ever meet in your life. Her name was Brandy. Brandy was a yellow lab, and you were a black lab. I know you thought of her as a mom, and she took great care of you. But you were a runner, every single time that door opened you would be out running. Ha, I remeber that time dad didn't catch you for three hours. But it was worth it cuz you were that good. Brandy lived with you all your life. Then, Dad and Mom seperated, leaving you with Brandy and Dad. You lived with Dad in four places. Dad loved you so much. By that time Brandy was getting so old, and by the time Dad got remarried and into his new house, Brandy was struggling. I remeber how sad you were. In Brandy's final days you took care of her. You would lick her, and sit by her to keep her warm. The night I found out that Brandy was getting put down I cried for three days. After Brandy was gone you would sit and not eat for a while and sleep. Mourning for her. Then we got the new dog Candy, who was a Chocolate Lab. At first you didn't like her. She wasn't Brandy, she was nothing like Brandy. But Candy thought of you as a father just so you know. Eventually you grew out to like her. You guys were friends for a while..............GOSH! I CAN'T STOP CRYING! In your final year, which was 2008, you began to have problems. Bladder problems, to where you just couldn't control if you pottied or not. Dad was getting mad, and the Cathy didn't like it either. I didn't mind much, you were my dog. This went on for a while. Then...............oh god. I don't even think I can go any farther if I can't stop crying.... 2009 was your final year. I first heard about you about to be put down by Dad, who told me in the car. You were such a good Dog and Mom was sad about it too. My last final goodbye too you was on Tuesday Febuary, 24th, 2009. I held you black furry face against mine and rubbed your ears. I told you that you were such a good dog and that I will always love you. You looked at me and I teared up. I didn't actually say goodbye, I just took my stuff and went downstairs... So here it is, Goodbye buddy, Goodbye friend. I love you so much Sambow, Sammy, Bowser, you were such a great dog. From your first moments to your final days I will always love you. I know that you are with Brandy now in heaven and I know you are so glad to see her. I'm sure she's happy to see you too, so happy. One of these days I'll see you too Sammy, you hear? It may not be for a while but your still my dog and I still love you. I'll see you again buddy, I'm promising you now I'll see you again, u hear me? I'm still your owner, you don't forget that. Heaven I'm sure is great, and I'll have you in my prayers every night u hear? I'm crying my eyes out right now, and I'm here at dad's without you. It feels so weird without laying in the bathroom, or roaming around. I love you boy, oh gosh I love you so much. I think you've changed me boy, I really do. Something inside me in missing and its you. I love you Sambow. Everybody did. I'll see you again Bowser. Goodbye Sambow...

omg brett that sounds like sampson remember he is so old and he is a blake lab and sambow and him were so alike i am crying cuz that makes me think of what it will be like when we have to put sampson down i will cry for a week straight because he was there through it all like sambow was he was even there through my birth just like sambow and i fell so bad when i read this tears came to my eyes i am soooo soooo sooooooo sorry brett my dad said when u put a dog down you see the life go right out of them he said it is really hard so i fell your pain :'(

aww, brett me tara and mackenzie were readin it. and tara was reading it out loud and like when you said the part " ill see you again buddie you hear?" that is when like mackenzie started balling, and tara started crying too. thats so sad. i NEVER want my doggies to die=[
