Queen Mary of Scots was one of the most controversial monarchs of the sixteenth century.
At one time she claimed thr crown of four different countries. Those countries were France, Scotland, England and Ireland.
Her beauty and kindness was taken notice of, even by her enemies .
She was bride to three different men . Her second relationship ended in murder and scandal. It was unpopular as was her third marrige. In her third marriage she had a child and named him James.
After having her child she fled to England seeking help from her cousin Elizabeth 1. Her presence was dangerous to the English Queen in her work and life.
Queen Mary was executed in 1587 by order of the English Government. She was only fourty-four years old at the time of her death.
All of her possessions were burned after her death. Her son James became the new monarch of the Scots.
