How the moon was formed.
The Giant Impactor Theory. This theory is about a small planet the size of mars struck the earth after the solar system was formed. After a while all the matter stuck together from the moon in orbit around the earth. They think the moon is made of mostly rock. I think The Giant Impactor theory is the best one because it is most believeable and accurate. The reason why I think that is because i also think the moon is mostly made up of rock.
Accretion theory. The moon was created at the same time and from the same material as the earth. They think a piece of the earth broke off and that’s how the moon got created. I think this is the worst theory because if the moon was made up of the earth then we would be able to live and breath on it also. It would probably look like the earth if it was made of it too.
