Some of the distinct contributions were: gunpowder, paper, the plow, and iron.
Iron was a big invention for the world. China would make farming tools, military weapons, and many other uses.
The Plow would revolutionize agriculture. This invention helped make farming easier. The plow would be connected to animals that are srong enough to pull the plow along. Ex: Horses
This civilation had a great military, strong central government, and a good religion to follow.

- People used cowrie shells as currency. - The Silk Road was a crucial aspect in their prospective for trading. - Worshipped their ancestors. - Believed in the ''Mandate of Heaven'' ( Rulers recieved powers through Gods) - Had many religions ( Daoism, Confucianism, Legalism, and Buddhism) - They had two main rivers ( Yangtze and Yellow Rivers) - Rich lived in homes made of wood and tile, and ate meat. - Poor lived in homes made of straw and mud; they ate rice, noodles, and bread.
