Egypt
Some major contributions: They made papyrus, written language (Hieroglyphics), and their wonderful architecture (Pyramids). Their life revolved around relogion and the Nile. The Nile River served as a source of food. ( ex. fish, birds that came to drink, and water to drink) Egyptians had Pharaohs/Kings as rulers; they used mud from the Nile in order to build houses. All officials were royalty; below them were nobles, priests, and servants.
Papyrus: it is a plant cut into thin slices and is used for paper.
Written Language: They wrote using Hieroglyphics. Egyptians used pictures instead of letters. For example a picture of an arm would represent the letter '' a''
