Mesopotamia
Three of the most important civilizations were the Sumerians, Hitites, and the Babylonians.
Sumerians: They contributed by developing farming, created their own government called city-states, algebra, and writing.
Babylonians: contributed by developing Hammurabi's laws and a form of government, religious beliefs, and farming. Hittites: contributed by farming, warfare, chariots, weapons, and cuniform. (type of writing)
Mesopotamia demonstrated a great government, religious beliefs, and a great mathematics system.

- They all traded with each other - Had irrigation systems - Men controlled everything - Women were house wives - Lived near the Euphrates and Tigris rivers - Grain was main source of food - Religion was polytheistic - Temples and Ziggurats were built closer to the Gods - Within this civilization they had thousands of gods
