Mourning Confidence
Mourning Confidence I see her standing right down the hall not too skinny, not too tall a short 5'5", 170 pounds but when she smiles, she moves the ground her teeth aren't perfect, got dimpled cheeks but the whole world listens, whenever she speaks she's not popular but she doesn't want it she's got what she needs and she loves to flaunt it long curly hair, big blue eyes aren't even the assets that reel in the guys not soft pale skin not glossy pouty lips not crazy hoop earrings or jeans down by her hips not bangle braclets or dark mood makeup are even a part of the cause of the shake up there is secret, there is a key cuz that girl down the hall she used to be me she didn't have perfect fashion or perfect looks she wore glasses, she read books she may have been nerdy but it didn't really matter somehow she found it in herself to rise above the chatter she knew her own worth no matter what anyone said because instead of hating them she loved herself instead and not one day has passed I don't wish I could turn back to gain the self made confidence that somehow I now lack ~Breanne Lynn Dilts
