Was Barrie ever married if so what was his marriage life like?Barrie married Mary Ansell on July 9, 1894.Mary was an actor and sometimes she would be in his plays. Barrie and his wife never had kids, but Barrie got her a dog. Sometimes they even use the dog in the plays! Later on in their relationship they got a divorce.
What is Barrie remembered for?Barrie is well remembered today for writing Peter Pan! His play is such a success that it has been remade so many ways and times!(movies and plays)He rote up to 18 plays!A lot of people don't recognize his name,but once you say Peter Pan they know exactly who your talking about.
What kept Barrie occupied in life?Well after Barrie's divorce,he took some time to himself and so Barrie took walks in the park. One day when Barrie was walking in the park he met a family of five named the Llewelyn Davies. They became close friends and once the parents die he would become the guardian.
