St. Benedict
Monastis Living
The Life and Duties~ the life of the monks is very limited based on the rules of St. Benedict in the 6th century. They were forced to do labor and not allowed to own property. The women like monks were called nuns. They did the same things the monks would do. They looked after those who are less fortunate than them. They gave them food clothes and protection.
Monks-- a monk is a man who has chosen to dedicate his life to religious service and contemplation.

Life for commoners were the hardest socail class of all. they had to work constantly just to get food..They work as merchants tha create stuff for the higher classes. then they harvest crops to make food. they didnt fit into the normal class so they made up there own shall you say. they were called the: merchants, servants and peasants.
Most peasants and lower class peopl;e wore stuff made by them so they don't have to buy it. they wore long shirts made from cotton, and shoes made from leather.
Most commoners religion is who ever rulers religion is. Most likely St. Benedict was ruling then so they were underFuedalism.
