Personal Interview
1) Where were you and what were you doing at my age? School at Archbishop Blenk High School 2) What was high school like then? "Very outgoing and fun because we didn't have cell phones or computers, so the students interacted with each other." 3) How do you perceive high school to be different now? "Too strict." 4) What were somethings you enjoyed as a teen that we don't have now? "Freedom, kids don't have much freedom now." 5) What did you want to do with your life when you were my age? "Wondering when the next Shaw football game was or the next formal dance, and who was the cutest guy at Shaw." 6)What kind of student were you, and how did that effect who you are now? "Very non-serious, had lots of fun, and encountered a lot of trouble. And still having fun and encourage my kids to have just as much fun because these are the best years of your life." 7) Did you have any high points or low points that were defining moments in your life? "Having children." 8) When you were a teen, did you have any interests that you still do as an adult? "Shaw football games, art, and I still think about being a doctor." 9) Are your friends the same as you had in high school? "Yepp" 10) When did you realize what you wanted to do? "My Senior Year." 11) What obstacles did you overcome to get to where you are today? "Working 3 jobs at one time to pay for my own college." 12) What has been the key to achieving the goals you've reached? "Patience, sense of humor, & time" 13) As you look back at your teen years, what would you do differently? "Not a thing. I would actually have more fun." 14) If you had one piece of advice to young people, what would it be? "Live it up, & take many risks!"
