The darkness consumes this solemn room, built out of the very thing hated by that which it contains. You can scream all you want, you can look for any slight sliver of light. But you will find only bolted walls, rusted from countless years of solitude. Its been told in ancient stories there is a way to be saved, it’s nothing I’ve seen before. But it’s the only thing keeping me alive. The story goes that while inside you weep, a world outside exists. In this world there are some who can save you, who can knock down the walls you regret to call home. The light of these people are said to be so eminently bright and warm it could tear down the strongest of walls with the slightest ease. I have yet to feel its warmth on my face or see a fragment of light penetrate these walls. I won’t give up now though, not when I have already waited so long. If these people do exist an eternity of waiting in this insufferable place would be worthwhile just to feel its embrace break down these walls I’ve been prisoner to for so long.
