How do I synthesise sets of notes?
What techniques can I use? Focus only on what you need. Use complete phrases when notetaking, don't just use key words alone. As you read challenge the author, come up with your own view. To help summarise a paragraph think of a heading for it - look for the first/leading sentence. - leave out examples and abbreviations.
