My story is about a man named Alan Givens. He is the CEO of a company in Manassas, Virginia. The company is called Parrish Services INC. Then on April, 15 he got to shake hands with President Barack Obama. Elevating him to the most famous HVAC Contractor on the entire planet. Givens was one of eight people who had been invited to talk with the president about how they had already begun to take advantage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which became law on February 17.
In HVAC we do a variety of many things. We do work with sheet metal and have made different things for the other labs and stuff for maintence out of sheet metal. We work with electricity so that we can wire up a system if we need to. We also work with oxygen and acetylene because if the copper breaks on a system we have to soldier and braze it depending on the severity of the hole. So that is a lot of what we do every day.
