What do we do? -;- Education : we help children and families to gain knowledge through schooling to help their communities. -;- Health ; immunization programs, training volunteers on strategies to combat malaria.Plan's health programs save thousands of lives every year. -;- Water and sanitation : improve access to safe drinking water and raise awareness on sanitation. -;- Protection ; helping protect children from violence. -;- Economic security ; help families manage money -;- Emergencies ; providing disaster relief & recovery projects -;- Child participation : Plan helps millions of children learn about their rights and take an active role in their own development as well as their community's.

Volunteers from Plan Dominican Republic worked until 2am Sunday. The trucks were packed with 4,000 tents that where shipped to Pedernales and from there to Jacmel, Haiti by boat.
